Obituary for Charles Edward Hirsch
Charles Edward Hirsch of Highland, Illinois, was born on December 27, 1951 in East St. Louis, Illinois a son to Emil Hirsch and the late Rose Marie (Wylie) Hirsch. Charles departed this life on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Highland Health Center having reached the age of sixty-five years, seven months and seven days.
Charles will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his father and step mother, Emil and Margie Hirsch of Potosi, Missouri; three step siblings: Fran Grilley and husband Paul of Deering, North Dakota; Patty Jones and husband Rodney of Caledonia, Missouri and Dale Wilson of Potosi.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marie Hirsch; sisters: Darlene and Charlotte Hirsch and one step brother, Daniel Wilson.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125. Charles will receive full military honors which will be presented by the United States Navy.
DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the arrangements and services for Charles during this time of remembrance.
