Obituary for Marcella Hollinsworth

Clara Marcella Hollinsworth was born on March 5, 1933, a daughter to the late John Wickerham and the late Margaret (Missey) Wickerham. On July 15, 1951, Marcella was united in marriage to Perry “Junior” Hollinsworth.

Marcella entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home at the age of eighty-four.

Marcella is survived by two half-sisters: Shirley and Bobbi; sisters-in-law: Beulah Hollinsworth and Mary Hollinsworth; two brothers-in-law: Dennis Hawkins and Cleo Hayes; special nephews and nieces: Doug (Connie) Hollinsworth and Carl (Geneva) Courtois; also surviving are many other dear nephews and nieces.

In addition to her father and mother, Marcella was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Junior; three brothers: Hank, Ray and Gene Wickerham; sisters: Mary Lucille Courtois and Faye; sisters-in-law: Wilma Hayes, Patricia Hawkins and Geneva (Bunch) Sanderson; brothers-in-law: Willard, Leonard, Stanley and Bill Hollinsworth and Don Bunch.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, February 10, 2018 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held in the Grassy Hollow Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements were respectfully entrusted into the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, MO.
