Obituary for Gloria Mae Warden
Gloria Mae Warden of Irondale, Missouri was born on September 14, 1939 in Washington County, Missouri, a daughter to the late Cruise Shelton and the late Marion (Eggers) Shelton. On December 3, 1957, Gloria was united in marriage to Robert Warden and they shared forty-five years together.
Gloria passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Mercy Hospital having reached seventy-eight years of age. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Warden; son, Michael Warden; sister, Karen White; and brother, Emory Lee Shelton.
Survivors include her six children: Robert (Norma) Warden, Caroline Link, Brian (Cindy) Warden, Damon Warden, Phillip (Beverly) Warden, and Christine (Daniel) Buckley; three siblings: Mary Cyr, Dean (Sandy) Shelton, and Robert Dale (Leslie) Shelton; thirteen grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kaci) Warden, Aaron Warden, Rebecca (Gene) Humphrey, Nathan Link, Kenny (Amy) Warden, Nicole (Josh) Mueller, Brandi Upchurch, Nikki (Brad) Williams, Megan Warden, Andrew (Amanda) Warden, Micheal (Sheree) Warden, Wyatt Warden, and Laryssa Warden; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; many dear nieces, nephews, and special brothers-in law and sisters-in law.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume on Monday, July 23, 2018, beginning at 9:00 AM.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 23, 2018, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harvey Buckley officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be shared at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
