Obituary for Paul Harry Petty

Paul Harry  Petty
Paul Harry Petty of Park Hills, Missouri was born on April 25, 1951 in Farmington, Missouri, a son to the late Lovell Petty and Mary Marie (Stam) Petty. On December 9, 1969 Paul was united in marriage to Linda Dye and they shared nearly forty-nine years together.

Paul passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Barnes Hospital having reached the age of sixty-seven years and three months.

Paul will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his wife, Linda Petty; daughter Tami (Steve) Neece; six grandchildren: Matthew (Emily) Evans, Riley Neece-Petty, Holly Neece, Dylan Neece, Ben Neece, Lily Neece; nine siblings: Delores Umfleet, Janet (Gene) Thomas, Gary (Carol) Petty, Judy Upchurch, John (Shonda) Petty, Marie (Dan) Bullock, Mark Petty, Danny Petty, Debby (Mark) Graf; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Daniel (Marion) Dye, Rita Becker, and Bruce LaPlante; also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his father and mother, Paul was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Petty; brother-in-law, Donnie Upchurch and sister-in-law, Maretta LaPlante.

The family received friends on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Shepard's House, Desloge, Missouri. A Funeral Service followed, beginning at 7 p.m. with Pastor Gary Petty officiating with Pastor Dewayne Petty.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
