George Lynn Warden of Potosi, Missouri, was born on June 19, 1936 in Potosi, a son of the late William Joseph Warden and the late Mayme Pearl (Becker) Warden. On June 6, 1958, George was united in marriage to Betty Ann Crocker and they shared sixty years together.

George entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Warden; son, David (Niki) Warden; daughter, Lynnette (Larry) Tucker; four grandchildren: Jamie Lynn Warden, Michaelyn Parks, Taylor Yount, and Haylee Yount; one great-grandson, Keegan Warden; two brothers: Paul (Donna) Warden and Eugene (Sharon) Warden; one sister, Ruth Crew; sister-in-law, Marie Summers; also surviving are a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his grandson, Craig David Warden; two sisters: Mildred Nettles and Leona Camillo; brother, William Warden; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ward and Zola Crocker.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 4:30-8 p.m. and Monday, August 13, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
