Obituary for Roger Dale "Jitter" Hastings
Roger Dale Hastings of Cadet, Missouri was born on August 18, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri a son to the late Bruce Hastings and the late Margaret (Courtway) Hastings. On June 17, 1974, Roger was united in marriage to Nancy Skaggs. Roger passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his home at the age of sixty.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-four years, Nancy Hastings; one son, Auggie Hastings; two daughters: Deborah Hastings and Joy Hastings; one brother, Jerry Hastings; two sisters: Flossie (Donald) Farris and Brenda (Bill) Powell; also surviving are other extended family and friends who will miss him.
In addition to his father and mother, Roger was preceded in death by one daughter, Tonya Hastings; three brothers: Richard, Tommy, and Butch Hastings; one sister, Debra Hastings.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to Safe Harbor Hospice for the tender loving care that was given to Roger and the family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, September 8, 2018 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Larry Walburn officiating.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted into the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
